Before going, check the opening hours on the Immigration Department's official website, as the hours vary by office. Arrive a few minutes before opening, as there are limited walk-in slots each day, and once they are full, no more applications will be processed. Arriving late means longer wait times and the possibility of not getting a number.

For rental addresses, if you don't have a fixed residence, you can use the address of a hotel where you are staying, and don't forget the room number.
The application process is very smooth, and you can pick up your ID with the receipt after 10 days. If needed, you can use a temporary ID in the meantime.
