Hong Kong Spousal and Children Reunion Visa

Project Introduction:IResidents of the province have relatives residing, studying, or working in Hong Kong or Macau. "Relatives" refers to: spouse, children, parents, or parents-in-law, siblings. The applicant's spouse and children can apply together.

Visiting spouse, children, parents, or parents-in-law can issue3 months once or multiple entries within 3 months. Couples who have minor children with their Hong Kong spouse can apply for a 1-year multiple entry visa to Hong Kong.

Visa Type:Family Visit Visa (T) is issued to applicants visiting relatives who reside, study, or work in Hong Kong. The family visit visa is divided into three types: 3 months once, 3 months multiple entries, and 1 year multiple entries. Holders of the 3 months once visa can stay in Hong Kong for no more than 14 days, while holders of the 3 months multiple entries visa can stay in Hong Kong for no more than 90 days from the date of first entry.

Application Materials

1. Submit a completed "Mainland Residents Application Form for Travel to Hong Kong and Macau" and one recent front-facing color photo with a blue background (specifications 48mmX33mm). (If applying for the first time or renewing the travel permit to Hong Kong and Macau, a digital photo inspection receipt from Guangdong Province's entry and exit inspection must be submitted.)

2. Present the original ID card and household registration book (if the applicant is under 16 years old, only the household registration book is required; military personnel only need to present ID proof), and submit copies.

3. Submit proof of identity of relatives in Hong Kong and Macau:

A copy of the Hong Kong resident ID card of the relative being visited or proof of employment or study in Hong Kong or Macau.

4. Submit proof of relationship (only one of the following is required).

(1) Marriage certificate, birth certificate, or other documents that can prove the relationship (submit copies and present originals);

(2) Proof of relationship issued by the personnel department of the applicant's workplace;

(3) Proof of relationship issued by the public security bureau at the applicant's household registration location.
