High recognition of results, many choices
The DSE exam results can be used to apply not only to local schools in Hong Kong but also to 132 schools in mainland China and 300 overseas universities. These universities include top institutions in China such as 985 and 211 universities, as well as world-renowned universities like Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, and the University of Sydney.

Flexible exam schedule
The DSE exam usually starts registration in September each year, with the registration deadline in November. The exams begin in mid-March of the following year and are conducted in multiple sessions, concluding by early May. Students have sufficient time to rest and review during the exam period.

Results can be retained for two years
The results of the Hong Kong DSE are valid for two years, allowing students to use the best subject scores from the two years for applications.
