Hong Kong Quality Migrant:The Hong Kong Quality Migrant Scheme was launched to attract high-skilled talent or quality migrants from around the world to settle in Hong Kong, thereby enhancing the city's competitiveness. Therefore, quality migrants are considered a form of skilled immigration, similar to the EB-1A in the United States, the Global Talent Independent Program in Australia, and the Highly Skilled Professional Visa in Japan.
