With the announcement of the results of the 65th issue (Q4 2022) of the Talent Scheme, a total of 2,845 approved quotas were generated for the Hong Kong Talent Scheme in 2022, representing a year-on-year growth rate of 42%, continuing the trend of annual growth. It is expected that there will be a multiple growth trend in 2023. Not only is the increase in the number of approved applicants a positive development, but there are also eight other significant advantages for the Hong Kong Talent Scheme applications in 2023:

1. Quota changes, no quota limits
Before adjustment:4,000 per year;
After adjustment:Quota restrictions removed, no upper limit.

2. Score changes, total score raised to 245 points
Before adjustment:The full score under the comprehensive scoring system is 225 points;
After adjustment:Full score 245.

3. Bonus point changes, 20 points for well-known companies/ Fortune 500 companies
Before adjustment:Work experience bonus points only apply to overseas work (15 points);
After adjustment:An additional bonus point for well-known companies (listed companies, Fortune 500, etc.) has been added.

4. Changes in application materials, overseas transcripts do not need to be sealed
Before adjustment:Provide original sealed transcripts;
After adjustment:Provide copies without the need for sealing.
