Currently, there are 12 schools in Hong Kong that immigration students can apply to, including the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, City University of Hong Kong, Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Zhuhai College of Jilin University, and Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. These schools are also ranked globally, with 5 Hong Kong universities in the top 100 of the QS World Rankings in 2021.

There are also many options in terms of majors. If you have a TOEFL or IELTS score above 6, or an English Level 6 score above 430, and have relevant work experience, you can choose majors such as education, business administration, music and arts, nursing and health, etc.

If your English is not up to par, you can choose majors that do not have language requirements but require relevant work experience for application, such as: Master of Arts in Chinese Literature, Master of Arts in Creative Writing, Master of Arts in Cultural and Heritage Tourism, Master of Nursing (Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing), Master of Science in Chinese Environmental Studies, etc.
