1. A corporate secretary is required.
A limited company registered in Hong Kong must appoint a company secretary. The functions and responsibilities of the company secretary mainly include ensuring that the company's operations and decisions comply with legal regulations, notifying relevant changes when there are changes in the company structure, handling annual compliance work, and related administrative matters.

2. Provide a Hong Kong company name.
This requirement is actually consistent with companies in other countries and regions. The relevant departments in Hong Kong also do not allow companies to have the same or similar names. To save registration time and avoid rejection due to name duplication, it is recommended to conduct a name check after drafting the company name or prepare several alternative names. Only names that pass the name check can be used. It should be noted that the requirements for company names in Hong Kong are not very strict, and there are fewer restrictions on naming, such as using words like international, group, trade, etc.

3. Registered capital.
The default registered capital for Hong Kong companies is generally HKD 10,000. It is not recommended to set the registered capital too high, as if a high amount is filled in, the company will need to pay the corresponding stamp duty to the Hong Kong tax bureau when transferring shares later. There is no requirement for actual capital verification.

4. Director and shareholder requirements.
Directors of Hong Kong companies must be at least 18 years old and have the capacity for independent action. There are no nationality restrictions; anyone with independent action capacity from any country can become a director. Valid identification documents, such as scanned copies of ID cards or passports, need to be provided. If there are many shareholders, the shareholding ratio distribution needs to be confirmed.

5. Registered address.
Hong Kong company registration also requires a local Hong Kong address. The Hong Kong government will use this address to mail important documents, so it is essential to ensure that the provided address is real and accurate. If the applicant cannot provide this requirement, the secretary company can provide it on their behalf.

Once the relevant registration materials are prepared, they can be submitted to the Hong Kong Companies Registry. After receiving the relevant materials, the Hong Kong company will review them, and upon approval, will issue the Hong Kong company registration materials to the applicant.
