Upon arriving in Japan, you need to pay national insurance fees of about 600 to 1,200 yuan (8,000 to 20,000 yen per year). This is mandatory and provides medical coverage for students.
06.Other Expenses
Phone Fees:Monthly fees range from 200 to 600 yuan. Calls made after 7 PM are cheaper. Upon arriving in Japan, you should first purchase a phone and a SIM card, preferably from a Japanese service center, and it’s best to have friends or seniors accompany you to avoid scams.
Clothing:This depends on your personal situation. However, local Japanese brands like Uniqlo are quite affordable in Japan, and prices drop significantly during holidays!
