Applicants who meet all the requirements of the "Basic Qualifications" will be assessed through the "Comprehensive Points System" or the "Achievement Points System." (Note: There are very few quotas for this scheme, and it is difficult for non-celebrities to pass.)

(1) One spouse has settled in Macau and has been separated for many years;

(2) Elderly and weak parents settled in Macau must be taken care of by children from mainland China;

(3) Elderly and children in mainland China without support must rely on direct relatives and close relatives in Macau;

(4) Properties of direct relatives settled in Macau have no heirs, and children from mainland must settle there to inherit;

(5) Other special circumstances that require settlement.
