1. What are the basic qualifications?
The applicant must at least have: a bachelor's degree or higher, and have a degree. At least two years of work experience. Note that this is just the basic application qualification; there is actually one very important point, which is a clean criminal record in the last ten years. Otherwise, even if you obtain a principle approval letter, you will still be unable to enter the country.


2. If the applicant has a bachelor's degree but no degree, can they apply for the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme?
It's quite difficult. If the applicant does not have a degree, the Immigration Department will require this qualification to be sent to the Hong Kong Academic and Accreditation Authority for assessment. They will check whether this qualification can reach the level of a bachelor's degree in Hong Kong.

The assessment takes about 2-4 weeks, and the assessment fee is approximately HKD 2160. However, not all qualifications can pass the assessment.


3. If the applicant does not have a bachelor's degree and no bachelor's degree, can they apply for the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme?
Applicants with the following situations can apply based on having no bachelor's degree and no bachelor's degree: the applicant has a nationally recognized professional qualification that can count as a bachelor's degree for scoring purposes, meaning the education points are the same as those for a bachelor's degree.

Professional qualifications such as: lawyer, accountant, engineer. This qualification must be issued by a national authority; qualifications issued by provincial or municipal institutions do not qualify.
