Changes in the annual quota for the Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme
2006:1,000 quotas per year, due to the closure of investment immigration, the competition for outstanding talents has become extremely fierce.
2020:Increased to 2,000 quotas per year, but it is still insufficient.
2021:Increased to 4,000 quotas per year.
2022:Announced that starting from early 2023, there will be no quota limit for outstanding talents for two years, while optimizing the approval process.
