Hong Kong Associate Degree
National unified college entrance examination scores at or above the undergraduate line or equivalent qualifications with English scores above 90 or IELTS/TOEFL scores, participate in an interview, some require a written test. Study for 2 years first, then advance to university.

Bachelor's Degree
Mainland college entrance examination scores above the first-line, English scores above 120, except for CityU and CUHK, all require interviews. After the college entrance examination results are released, teachers from the eight major universities in Hong Kong will also go to various provinces in the mainland to communicate directly with students. Therefore, generally, intermediaries will not recommend bachelor's programs.

Taught Master's Degree
Similar to the specialized master's in the mainland, it only requires one year of study. There are requirements for the undergraduate institution, GPA, and English scores, mainly in the form of classes. An interview is required, and competition is fierce. The one-year taught master's program in Hong Kong has a significant advantage compared to 2.5 to 3 years in the mainland.

Research Master's Degree
Mainly focused on projects and research, there are high requirements for the undergraduate institution, GPA, and IELTS scores, and a thesis is required for application. This part of the program has scholarship support from the Hong Kong government and universities. It is even possible to study for a master's degree for free.
