Hong Kong Education University Undergraduate Admission Requirements and Criteria

Hong Kong Education University accepts mainland Gaokao scores for direct undergraduate applications, implementing independent admissions. There are no fixed quota allocations from various provinces and cities; the university comprehensively considers the applicant's Gaokao scores and interview performance for selective admission.
Applicants must be current Gaokao candidates from the 31 provinces/cities/regions of mainland China (including repeat students). Applicants must meet the following requirements in the national unified college entrance examination:
The total Gaokao score (excluding bonus points) must reach above the first-tier line or the special type admission control score line for the respective province or city;
The Gaokao English score must be 120 or above (with a full score of 150). For programs where Chinese is the primary language of instruction, the minimum English score requirement is 110 (with a full score of 150).
