Step 1:
The Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme usually conducts a selection process every three months, where the advisory committee performs two rounds of screening for applicants who meet the basic criteria.

After passing the first round of review, the reviewing officers will conduct a deeper screening and scoring of the applicant's educational background, past achievements, professional experience, international perspective, and future plans in Hong Kong, which is the second round of screening.

Step 2:
The second round of screening places particular emphasis on the applicant's expertise and how their abilities can contribute to Hong Kong's future development. If the judging panel identifies highlights in these areas, the applicant can obtain permanent residency in Hong Kong through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme. Therefore, the scores of applicants who are truly approved for the Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme range from 130 to 180 points, or even a perfect score.

Applicants should note that all applicants for the Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme are treated equally, and there is no expedited processing channel. The only way to be faster than others is to submit your application as early as possible. Step 3
Four professional group leaders are responsible for the review, and all cases submitted to the Immigration Department must go through this step. The purpose is to conduct a detailed review of all documents for each case and confirm the scoring situation in six parts:

5,Family;
6,Talent List

Whether all supporting documents corresponding to the above six parts of scoring are complete or meet the standards;

Documents that do not meet the requirements need to be supplemented. Only after confirming that the comprehensive score exceeds 80 points will the screening proceed. If documents cannot be supplemented and the score is below 80 points, there is no need to proceed to the second step, and it can be directly processed as a rejection.
