According to the "Regulations on the Application and Issuance of Residence Permits for Residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan", residents from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan can enjoy the same benefits as mainland residents.

The "Regulations" stipulate that residents from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan who have lived in the mainland for more than six months and meet one of the conditions of having legal and stable employment, legal and stable residence, or continuous study can apply for a residence permit for residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan at the local public security authority with a valid Hong Kong resident travel permit (i.e., return permit) or a five-year Taiwan resident travel permit to the mainland.

Eligible Hong Kong permanent residents living in the mainland can apply for the residence permit for residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan according to the "Regulations".

Permit holders can enjoy three rights, six basic public services, and nine conveniences in their place of residence in the mainland, covering daily life areas such as employment, education, healthcare, tourism, and finance!
