How is the scoring calculated for the Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme?
After the applicant meets the basic requirements, they can choose a scoring system to obtain points and compete for quotas with other applicants. The two scoring systems are "Comprehensive Scoring System" and "Achievement Scoring System," with selection lists published each quarter.
Achievement Scoring System: Full score of 225 points
Has received outstanding achievement awards (e.g., Olympic medals, Nobel Prize, national/international awards);
Can prove that their work has been recognized by peers or has made significant contributions to their field (e.g., receiving a lifetime achievement award from the industry).
Comprehensive Scoring System: Minimum passing score of 80 points
