Program Advantages

No need to obtain a local employer's appointment before coming to Hong Kong; can bring spouse and children under 18 to Hong Kong.

Major Events of the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme

Implemented in June 2006, with a quota of 1,000.

In October 2020, the quota increased to 2,000.

In October 2021, the quota increased to 4,000.

Basic Qualifications

Age:Must be at least 18 years old;

Financial:Must have the ability to support oneself and dependents (if any) during their stay in Hong Kong without relying on public assistance.

Good Character:No criminal or adverse immigration record;

Language Proficiency:Good command of Chinese or English;

Education Level:Bachelor's degree or above.
