Did you know? The "Tsinghua and Peking University" that seems unreachable in our hearts is actually not so unattainable! It's just that we used to think that the only path was through the "Gaokao"!

But the reality is that many people come to Tsinghua and Peking University not through the Gaokao, but through several other ways:

First type: Talent-based
Students with artistic, sports, or other special talents can enter based on their skills.

Second type: Identity-based
Children with identities from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, or overseas Chinese can participate in the Overseas Chinese Student Joint Examination; children with Hong Kong identity can join the mainland's exemption admission plan through the DSE exam.

Third type: Program-based
Strong Foundation Program, Self-improvement Program, National Special Program

Among these, the one with the lowest difficulty and threshold isthe Overseas Chinese Student Joint Examination from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.It is known as the green channel for the Chinese Gaokao!

Few applicants:Less than 5000 candidates, with low competition pressure!

Low admission scores:200 points to enter undergraduate programs! 400 points to enter 985 universities!

Low exam difficulty:Middle school level questions, fewer subjects!

Undoubtedly, this is the best stepping stone for ordinary students to advance in their studies! Currently, as long as you prepare your second identity in advance!

If you want your child to participate in the Overseas Chinese Student Examination in 2025, you need to register in March 2025 and take the exam in May. Based on the earliest possible exam date, you need to have lived in the country (abroad) for 18 months by March 2025; further back, you need to obtain permanent residency in a third country by March 2023!

This means that candidates need to complete the identity approval process by December 2022. Assuming the fastest approval time is 3-6 months, you need to start the identity application process by June 2022. In other words, configuring a second identity is urgent now!
