The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology announced the expected teaching arrangements for the fall semester of 2022-23, resuming in-person classes!

The default teaching mode for the University of Hong Kong in the fall semester of 2022-2023 will be in-person classes.

Hong Kong Baptist University will resume in-person and dual-track teaching for all courses starting from May 3.

Since the resumption of in-person classes has been basically confirmed, it is important to pay attention to the entry conditions and requirements in advance. Here are the latest entry policies that I have organized and shared with everyone:

Situation 1: Appointment for "Return to Hong Kong Easy" quota
1.Hong Kong ID card and valid visa
2.Proof of successful appointment for "Return to Hong Kong Easy" quota (electronic version or printed)
3.Nucleic acid negative report within 72 hours
4.Completed 3 doses, vaccination record
5."Return to Hong Kong Easy" green QR code
6.Exemption from 14 days of mandatory quarantine

Situation 2: No appointment for "Return to Hong Kong Easy" quota
1.Hong Kong ID card and valid visa
2.Nucleic acid negative report within 72 hours
3.Completed 3 doses vaccination record - mandatory quarantine for 7 days + 7 days of home isolation
4 .Not completed 3 doses, vaccination record - mandatory quarantine for 14 days
 

Note: Before confirming your return to Hong Kong, you need to pay attention to the list of medium and high-risk areas published by Hong Kong, the requirements of airlines, and choose a quarantine hotel in Hong Kong in advance.
