1:Prepare the supporting documents for settling in Macau

2:The applicant must fill out the application form for settling in Macau at the local public security bureau's entry and exit administration and submit all supporting documents;

3:After acceptance by the local public security bureau's entry and exit administration, verify the authenticity of the applicant's materials and whether the procedures are complete;

4:After the entry and exit administration approves the review, the applicant will queue for notification according to the quota schedule for each region each year;

5:After receiving the notification from the local entry and exit administration, the applicant will obtain a one-time single-entry permit to Macau;

6:The applicant will cancel their household registration at the local public security bureau's police station with the supporting documents;

7:The applicant must complete all procedures at the entry and exit administration at the Macau port within 30 days;

8:The applicant will receive a temporary resident identity card and a return permit for Macau;

9:It is required that the applicant must reside in Macau for seven years before they can obtain a permanent resident identity card.
