Project IntroductionThe Atlantic Immigration Pilot is a federal immigration program in Canada, designed for quick immigration to permanent residency in one step. This program aims to attract skilled workers and international graduates who intend to live in the four Atlantic provinces. The four Atlantic provinces include New Brunswick (NB), Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), Nova Scotia (NS), and Prince Edward Island (PEI). The program opened in March 2017, with a pilot period of 3 years. On March 1, 2019, the federal immigration office announced an extension of the AIPP program for another 2 years, until December 2021.
